Avowed Bitcoin fan Jack Dorsey continues to reject Ethereum

Bitcoin maximalist Jack Dorsey once again rejected the idea of investing in Ethereum

Although the crypto community constantly pressures Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey to exploit altcoins (such as Ethereum, for example), the billionaire remains faithful to Bitcoin’s maximalism.

When a Twitter user said Dorsey would soon buy Ethereum, he simply said, “No”.

“I’ve talked shit about @Jack being maxi in the past, but I think since following @udiWertheimer and @jebus911 he’s been looking for more. It’s just a matter of time before he buys $eth”

According reported by U.Today, the 44-year-old businessman got the same two-letter answer for the second-largest cryptocurrency in February 2019.

At the Bitcoin 2021 Conference, Dorsey – who leads two companies – said Bitcoin was the most important thing in her life.

He even said he would abandon Twitter and Square if the main cryptocurrency needed it.

Earlier this month, Dorsey said it was “just a matter of time” before Twitter joined Bitcoin’s Lightning Network.

New Bitcoin Wallet

Recently, Jack Dorsey said his company is heavily evaluating options to create a Bitcoin hardware portfolio that will provide full control over the cryptocurrencies users own.

Following Dorsey’s comments via a tweet, Square shares rose 2.7%, but ended up ending the day 1% higher compared to the day before.

Bitcoin deals and transactions are now an important source of revenue for Square. The company offers consumers the opportunity to make cryptocurrency purchases through CashApp and even store them digitally.

According to 2020 performance data, the company’s Bitcoin sales grew from $516 million in 2019 to end the year at $4.75 million by the end of 2020. Dorsey’s proposals seek to eliminate the third-party control aspect , including the Square.
