Bitcoin (BTC) again tests $ 24,000

Today, the price of bitcoin tried again to reach $ 24,000, but failed.

This is the fourth time that he has approached that limit, but he cannot keep it.

The first time was on December 19, four days ago, when it exceeded $ 23,900, but then dropped to $ 23,300.

The second time was on December 20, when it reached an all-time high of more than $ 24,200, and soon after that it dropped to $ 23,500.

The third time was on the following day, December 21, when the $ 23,900 mark was again crossed, followed by a sharp drop to $ 22,500.

After a day of relative calm, today the price of bitcoin has again hit the technical and psychological limit of $ 24,000, which was almost reached for a moment, but then followed by another drop to $ 23,500.

These four “attacks” were in some ways very similar to each other, as they were relatively quick and triggered a rapid drop to around $ 23,500.

The only one that was a little different was the 20th of December, due to the fact that the rise was slightly slower, the maximum value reached was higher and the subsequent recovery has further lowered the price.

BTC at $ 24,000?

At the moment, there seems to be a lot of uncertainty about the short-term evolution of the bitcoin price, with forecasts of falls and increases.

In fact, there are those who foresee a further rise to $ 25,000 at the end of the month, while those who expect a retraction with prices that may still fall below the $ 22,500 resistance.

However, it should be noted that prices have not fallen below $ 22,000 for about a week, although the $ 20,000 mark was not broken until December 16 at this stage.

In addition, in the last two and a half months, the price of bitcoin has doubled, which for many suggests a possible setback sooner or later.
