Bitpanda is an investment platform and the first Austrian unicorn. She has just hired a new global HR chief (Chief Human Resources Officer – CHRO), Lindsay Ross. Important changes also took place in the branch in Krakow.

Bitpanda can already boast that it currently employs as many as 500 full-time employees. This number includes many people from the Krakow branch. The company wants to employ about 300 engineers and programmers in Poland. This year, the Polish team is to count as many as 100 people.

Aneta Bochenek is now responsible for hiring employees in Poland. He has experience in technicalsourcing and recruiting for large teams. She cooperated with GE Healthcare, Gain Capital and Oanda. She is also associated with the Dare IT community, an organization that encourages women to start and develop careers in the technology industry.

Branch in Krakow
The Bitpanda team in Krakow consists of a dozen or so people today. Programmers, engineers and project managers work with us on the basic functionality of Bitpanda – Broker. They are responsible for the so-called The user’s customer journey: from the moment of payment of money to the moment of their withdrawal. The tasks of the Krakow team also include integration with PSP (payment service providers) in all local fintech markets.
Bitpanda was founded in Vienna. After successfully entering the markets in France, Spain, Turkey, Italy and Poland last year, it wants to expand its operations to other countries. Its tech hubs and offices are to appear in Madrid, Barcelona, London, Paris and Berlin.
