ChainLink breaks records surpassing Ethereum in trading volume at Gemini and Kraken
In the past two weeks ChainLink (LINK) has been the subject of the market, with digital assets breaking several maxims of all time, the most recent being at $ 8.74, according to Coinmarketcap. ChainLink’s impressive market performance has led digital assets to break several trading volume records across multiple exchanges.
For a start, ChainLink had an incredible day in terms of trading volume at the Gemini exchange. According to Cameron Winklevoss, LINK’s trade volume on the exchange has exceeded that of Ethereum in the past 24 hours. Below is Mr. Winklevoss’ tweet mentioning this milestone.

“Massive day for $ LINK. It is the second most traded asset on @Gemini in the last 24 hours, exceeding $ ETH. ”
In addition, LINK achieved a similar feat at the Kraken exchange. In this case, it was the second day that LINK beat Ethereum in terms of trading volume in 24 hours. In your daily market report for July 16, the Kraken team also pointed out that LINK’s trade volume has been steadily increasing for some time.
“LINK beat Ethereum for the second consecutive day in terms of total trading volume. The LINK / USD pair had the biggest increase in trading volume week by week and month by month. ”
LINK also broke records at the cryptocurrency exchange FTX, overtaking Bitcoin as the most traded perpetual contract on the platform. This achievement was highlighted by FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF), through the following Tweet:
I think this is a first: BTC-PERP isn’t the most traded contract on FTX today. That would be $ LINK.
– SBF (@SBF_Alameda) July 15, 2020
“I think this is the first time: BTC-PERP is not the most negotiated contract at FTX today. It’s $ LINK:
And a lot of tokens – including $ SXP, a new listing – were traded more than BTC in the quarter. ”

LINK briefly shaken by Twitter hack
A brief look at Coinmarketcap reveals once again that ChainLink (LINK) is still in 8th place, ahead of Litecoin (LTC) and Binance Coin (BNB). However, the value of the token seems to have been shaken by the Twitter hack. LINK suffered a brief setback due to the Twitter hack which had a negative effect on all digital assets.
In the case of LINK, the digital asset briefly fell below $ 8 to $ 7.92 at Binance. However, LINK has recovered part of its bullish moment and is trading at $ 8.56 at the time of writing.
