Shiba Inu reaches 18% appreciation and 1 million holders

The cryptocurrency Meme, Shiba Inu, has seen a huge increase in price today as the project registers a record number of token holders.

The cryptocurrency Meme Shiba Inu (SHIB) hit the price of $0.000044 today, marking an 18% increase in price in the past 24 hours.

The price increase came amid a record one million SHIB holders, announced by Shiba Inu’s official Twitter account earlier today.

“Such a proud and incredible milestone for ShibArmy. SHIB reaches one million holders,” tweeted the account.

“Today we all cheer and celebrate this great moment in SHIB history,” added the team.

Aside from the milestone of one million bearers tweeted earlier today, it’s been a busy month for the Shiba Inu cryptocurrency.

Shiba Inu makes headlines again.

In recent weeks, Shiba Inu has made headlines.

An example came on November 15, 2021, when Gemini announced that was adding the rival Dogecoin.

SHIB arrived on Gemini’s back along with other notable cryptocurrencies, including the stablecoin USDC, the AUDIO token from the Audius streaming platform, and the RARE token from the NFT SuperRare platform.

In the month prior to Gemini’s listing, SHIB increased dramatically, peaking at $0.00008616 on October 28, 2021.

Furthermore, SHIB briefly surpassed Dogecoin – the main cryptocurrency meme – on two separate occasions between October and this month in overall market value.

Prior to joining Gemini, SHIB was listed on Coinbase in September.

Meme cryptocurrencies have recently attracted regulatory scrutiny in the UK, with advertisements for other meme currencies such as Floki Inu being criticized for running ads “irresponsible” on public transport.
