The Kessler Collection makes history. It is the first American group of luxury hotels to accept cryptocurrency payments. The company has just started cooperation with BitPay, the world’s largest provider of payment services from the Bitcoin market. Currently, eight corporate-owned hotels accept Bitcoin, Ethery Dogecoin, and several other cryptocurrencies (including stablecoins). The news was announced in the new the company’s press release.

As it was added in the release, as early as 2013, the first airlines and travel agencies began to accept Bitcoin. The Kessler hotel chain goes down in history as the first brand of its kind to take such a step.
According to the company’s CFO, Frava Collazo, “This move will make life easier for guests traveling all over the world, both in terms of time saved using local currency and money saved through lower exchange rates.”
The company’s hotels are located, among others in Savannah, St. Augustine, Beaver Creek or Charlotte. Now, at the facilities, each guest will be able to pay for services using a cryptocurrency wallet via BitPay. Customers will be able to pay in BTC, BCH, ETH, DOGE and stablecoins: USDC, BUSD, GUSD and PAX.
